Third in my David Cook cheer-on series! The point of this series is to do one a week until he is either booted off or wins American Idol. This is for the week that begins tomorrow. I'm actually slightly ahead of schedule, so I'm submitting it now. This is for the week beginning 4/20.

I'm cheering him on because he's a great performer and because it's fun! It's also great practice - I've always had a hard time drawing males, but this he's cute enough to keep me motivated enough to work through the pains caused by all the weird, angular blockiness guys seem to have when compared with women.

The toughest part of this one was his face, which is at an angle I had a hard time capturing. Also difficult was that hand, but my darling fiance (who kindly tolerates this fangirl nuttiness) and I had a fun time coming up with outrageously inappropriate things to write on it instead! Those versions, however, won't be going on DA!

PS: I imagine people who haven't seen the show will be wondering about the "give back" stuff on his hand. He had that written on his hand to promote the American Idol charity show "Idol Gives Back" and held it up to the camera during a performance.
