Herbie - Speedpaint

The true meaning of pain is attempting to "speed paint" a car. The sparkles are a deliberate attempt to detract from a wobbly jello-like likeness of one of my favorite cars, Herbie. I hope they work! Calling this a "speed paint" might not even be fair, I spent so much time just cleaning it up it's more of slow paint that I quit 5 hours early on I think I'll have to make a habit of painting more cars, this was just a grueling experience and it's got a lot of proportion issues.

In any case, the next speed painting day, Wednesday, fast approaches and I had to push this out and get it on DA before then. Them's the rules.

Herbie was painted entirely in photoshop CS over the course of about 3 hours. The ref comes up in any old Google image search.
